The anorexic scarf is a current trend. I keep seeing it in photographs so I went to a store to try it out. The idea is to wrap it like a choker then low knotted or draped. It looked dreadful on me.  So I did not get the scarf. However, a few days later I tried tying my classic men’s navy Brooks Brothers cashmere scarf similarly. This worked. When I showed the skinny scarf look to my husband he said he thinks it is a trend that is trying way too hard and in a few years it will seem really silly. He is no fashionista yet he has a point. Sometimes our inspiration should remain just that.
