IN THE MOOD FOR POLISH

There is no easier way to feel put together than with nail polish color. Here are some of the new Essie shades that I have tried. The icy frozen lavender color Virgin Snow is nice with paler skin tones and winter white or navy clothes. The bronze color Leggy Legend I thought would only work with darker skin tones and black or gray clothes.  I was wrong! It looked great on pale skin tones. This is a high shine metallic gold copper almost brass color. It looks brown in the bottle but brass on nails. The colors In the lobby and Shall we chalet? are beautiful rich wine shades for any skin tone and great to add some color pop to dark winter colored clothes.  I added one that has been around a long time but is new to me. It is called Island Hopping and a super choice for when you do not want too light or too dark of a shade. There are also many mid tone gray shades available now.  Brunettes may want to experiment with light or bright colors and cool tones; blondes in dark or bright colors and warm tones.

Here is a fun and quick home manicure tip from Pure Wow:

I’ve become addicted to pedicures – in the winter! Which seems completely counter-intuitive as your toes aren’t on display (except in bed). However, it’s keep my heels smooth and been such a pampering treat. I’ve especially enjoyed experimenting with colors and will definitely try your recommendations on my next visit.

I struggle to find a good shade during the winter months when my skin is extra pale. I’ll think the Virgin Snow could be a good option. Thanks for the tip!
