I’ve been wondering why there aren’t mainstream options for activewear that tracks heart rate, calories counted, steps taken, and real time input about proper or improper form. There is such a thing as a “smart bra”. I just haven’t heard of anyone actually buying smart clothes not even the “smart bra”. Surprisingly, it’s fashion (or lack thereof) not the technical aspect holding back this innovation. For an interesting short article about it click Here. I’ll keep my ear to the ground and post again when this gets figured out.

I was just listening to comments on active wear on CNBC. They were discussing all the celebrity endorsed clothing lines and debating it the market was getting saturated. Your idea is interesting but it will take a lot to compete with the “jewelry” already existing in the market tracking heart rate etc. I wear a polar heart rate monitor when I exercise …….need to look into this smart bra.
