IN THE MOOD SCOTCH & SODA

No, not the drink! Having recently stumbled upon the cute Scotch & Soda Amsterdam fashion brand, I decided it is too good not to share. See below for my recent purchase.

Since velvet and loafers are on trend I will be dusting off my vintage velvet blazer and Gucci loafers. Trends usually repeat and if you are older than 25, we can often find in our own closet what we need to be on trend. One of the benefits of ageing.

I’ve decided that my favorite Fall pairing of all time is a jean with a white top. Click HERE for the Outnet’s picks.

My recent Fall Fashion haul is listed below. Each can be worn separately styled up or down while sipping a scotch & soda. Three items aren’t exactly a “haul”, but for picky minimalist hard to fit online shopper me, it is!

(1) A jean that is in style, affordable, and flattering. ASOS Tall Castile Pencil Straight Leg Jean in Vintage Dark Wash Blue $46 these are even better than pictured

(2) A white top that is so affordable that it can be tailored to fit perfectly.
ASOS Clean Pajama Blouse With Pocket Detail in Ivory $46 also available in Tall size

(3) A breton rib knit wool sweater that is neither bulky nor boxy, cheerful and timeless. Scotch & Soda Striped Pullover in Colour Combo B Red & Navy $135

I do not receive any proceeds from purchase of these recommended brands.

I recently discovered that ASOS has a Tall size which I tried because of my frustration with too short everything. I recommend highly trying Tall sizes if you are above average height and want dresses to reach the knee not thigh and sleeves to reach the wrist. My new Tall size ASOS straight leg high waist jeans are finally the perfect length and look – just like Brooke Testoni’s as pictured in a previous post.

If I were a drinker, my scotch would be Royal Salute by Chivas Regal, club soda Q Club, and orange bitters Regan’s.

Cheers – to Scotch & Soda, ASOS, and repeating trends!
