mood: hopeful

Can 1 skincare product solve every one of our face’s problems? No longer buy multiple creams and serums? A Bloomberg Businessweek article got me hopeful about new multitasking Grace + Tonic Moisture Cream ($35 at Target available 1/27) for a quickly achieved healthy glow. Currently I’m using my own concoction of: retinol (just during winter to tackle age spots and for exfoliation), peptides, hyaluronic acid or vitamin C or squalane oil. Also, the toner (Japanese Hadalabo Gokujun) recently reintroduced. I was taught a long time ago not to bother with eye cream. According to the article “an advantage of using a multitasking product is that you know that the combination of active ingredients is stable, as opposed to combining multiple products and not knowing whether they potentially inactivate or block penetration of each other”. Sunscreen has always been a must as well as gentle cleansing. So maybe for uncomplicated skin types, 3 products is the realistic goal? Cleanse, Protect, Treat. 1 thing is for sure, I’ve found 0 that works to diminish fine lines! Have you?

I use Purity from Philosophy as a cleanser, make up remover and eye makeup remover. One bottle does everything. Most of all I love the aroma and how it feels on my face.
It is gentle and milky which facial studios recommend.
    Enjoy!

I’m always wondering what the cross effects of products are. Nice to see an all in one at a good price range!

Simplicity is key! It is so easy to get overwhelmed by all of the products and claims out there. It is great to know there are multi-tasking products that help make it easier!

Basic is key for my skin type. Keeping with the philosophy Cleanse, Protect and Treat. Love Roc products which have definitely helped my fine lines around my mouth. I easily get overwhelmed by so much available at the store. Will try Grace + Tonic. Thanks for sharing.
