What do grandma curtain vibes and a book about fitness have in common? Summer, of course!
Here are my two favorite purchases from summer which ended today, the first official day of Autumn.
☑ The MAJORELLE collection Rosebud Romper in vintage floral from Revolve
The floral trend continues into Autumn but head to toe maxi even midi florals are not easy to pull off. The trick, according to the 100 (I kid you not) fashion youtube videos I watched, is to keep the print small, break it up with a belt, jacket or sweater, and boots. Easy right? Lol. We shall see.
☑ Fitness Junkie by Lucy Sykes and Jo Piazza
This novel is about our obsessions with getting fit, available on Amazon – From the bestselling authors of The Knockoff, an outrageously funny novel about one woman’s attempt – through clay diets, naked yoga, green juice, and cultish workout classes – to win back her career, save her best friend, and lose thirty pounds.
Please share thoughts about florals, your current fitness obsession OR two favorite summer purchases.
Moodsey is about sharing not selling and does not receive proceeds from purchase of these recommendations.

Is it REALLY the 1st day of Fall?!?! Ugh. Where has this year gone?? Also, I’d love to borrow Fitness Junkie if you still have your copy!

I know, right?! Summer always goes by way too quickly Hart & YES I will pass Fitness Junkie over to you once I get it back from my other friend who is reading it now – she actually is the one who thought of me and told me about it after reading a review. I am seriously still laughing and smiling from it. This is a quick light read. I was done in one day poolside.

What change in florals do you recommend from season to season? I’d love to keep wearing my summer florals with the warm weather, but don’t want to be off season.

Phoebe, I really like a floral twilly (micro scarf) wrapped around the wrist as a bracelet – Hermes ($160) & Zara ($12) have them. This is such a simple way to add a dash of floral. It has been so hot outside and yet it is October which does lead to a what to wear dilemma. To me comfort is key so I’d still get some wear out of my floral romper which is like wearing a pajama. I’ve seen Lilly Pulitzer prints with cashmere and it looked fabulous even well into Fall, so I think we should all wear what we want and own it. With global warming I guess I will be thinking twice before making new cold weather purchases. Watch it snow next week lol.
